Ready Made FAQ's
Frequently Asked Questions
Do your Ready Made Curtains come with a Guarantee?
We offer a 2 year guarantee on our fabric if curtains have been handled and cared for correctly as per care instructions.
What sizes do your Ready Made Curtains come in?
Our taped curtains come in a standard drop of 218cm and an extra length drop of 250cm. Our eyelet curtains come in a standard drop of 220cm and an extra length drop of 252cm.
Our widths vary from 230cm to 285cm depending on the design. Our Aerial & Tranquil sheers come in an extra length width of 500cm in tape only.
What tape heading do we offer?
Our 3 string woven pocket tape heading does allow for slight adjustments. Curtain hooks can be fitted to any of the 3 string woven pocket levels to accommodate slight height variances without having to alter the curtain. Adjustments of 2-5cm can be accommodated.
What is the diameter of your eyelets?
Our stainless steel eyelets are 40mm in diameter.
What diameter rod must I purchase for your 40mm eyelets?
We suggest no thicker than 30mm to allow for curtains to glide easily along the rod when opening and closing curtains.
Can your blockout curtains reduce traffic noise and provide insulation?
Our blockout curtains are used when more light reduction is required. These types of fabrics are beneficial for privacy, UV protection, insulation and reduction in noise levels.
How much light reduction do your partial blockouts offer?
The blockout percentage depends on the design. These curtains block out the glare and UV, but some light will still come through the curtain.
How do I attach blockout lining to my taped curtain?
Here are steps to attach blockout lining to a taped curtain https://www.stuartgraham.co.za/style-blog/2018/4/20/how-to-add-block-out-to-your-ready-made-curtains
Lay your existing ready-made curtain face down on a clean, flat surface. Ensure the curtain has already been gathered to the desired width.
Lay the lining product over the ready-made curtain and connect together using a single curtain hook. DO NOT connect through the gathering strings. Use the slit in the bottom of the curtain tape for a secure fit.
Flip the curtain hooks round and hang on your tape track as usual.
