CHRISTMAS LIGHTS IN A JAR!

Lauren Graham

The shops are buzzing with festive cheer and we're starting to get that Christmas feeling. If you're anything like us when it comes to the silly season,  It's time to start decking the house with Christmas goodies! If you're looking for a modern twist on traditional Christmas decor, then you'll love this creative idea using fairy lights and mason jars!

Simply select some jars in a size and style that you like and get to work placing battery operated fairly lights. Finish by closing the lights in with the lid to keep little fingers, dust and bugs out. These are perfect to create a festive glow around your home, or even as an alternative to candles at your Christmas table setting. These are also great for the outdoors, making it a fabulous addition to your outdoor entertaining as Summer sets in.

TOP TIPS:

  • When arranging on a table, always work in uneven numbers for the best result.
  • If you already have fairy lights that are not battery operated, you can get creative with an open-top jar and even create floor lighting. Just watch out for the cords!
